Theresa –
New Balance is my go to brand as most competitors sneakers are too narrow for me. I bought a regular in New Balance court shoes in a different style than these and they are good . In this particular sneaker I ordered a wide and it fits very comfortably. I seem to be in the middle of regular and wide in NB . This shoe in the picture looked a little narrower than my other NB sneaker so I ordered a W and so figured right. I like the faux leather uppers -better support for my foot and ankle-I am a senior who plays lots of Pickleball and these shoes keep me feeling good.

I bought these court shoes to play pickle ball. They are very comfortable and fit well. I am a size 8 and the size is perfect. I love the new balance style.

Shoes were too narrow and too small. They looked good.
Marianne –
The tie was too narrow, I really hoped this would fit

I have owned many pairs of New Balance 696 but version 5 is completely redesigned. It does not look the same and does not fit the same in the toe box. I am returning. Too bad because this was my go-to tennis shoe.

I didn’t realize these were tennis shoes. I wanted walking shoes, my mistake. The shoes felt a bit short with a sock on and the sole was weird. It seemed to angle in and maybe that was for playing tennis. I returned them.

really odd fit. I liked the shoe, but like a few others did say, the toe box was abnormally narrow/small. I have slightly wide feet but with New Balance I’m pretty good with the normal medium width. I decided, due to the reviews, to get the D width (wider) and it just felt off with the sock in there, it was still rather tight. Sadly will need to return it.
Kelli –
I have a narrow heel, high arch, and normal forefoot and usually New Balance is one of the manufactures that keep my heel in place. Not this time. My heel moved around too much 🙁

slightly short

If you need a wide show this is it. Superb comfort but not much arch support. Stable shoe if you use inserts.
Great outer material it’s durable

I have another pair of NB court shoes in the same size, and these feel shorter and narrower. The arch support isn’t great either. I love purple clothing, but the color of these is just awful.

Fit and size are good, however, they are not quite as good a fit for my AA heels as I would like. That’s something hard to find. Overall they work fine for me.

I kept the 10.5 wide instead of 11 reg and they are a perfect fit for my wide curved-in feet. Can’t wait to try them on the courts!
Denise –
These are very comfortable sneakers. My foot feels secure and supported. I’m sure these will be great for pickleball – I’ve tried close to 10 different brands and styles – but I’m returning because after wearing them in my house for a little bit, my big toe was hitting the front of the sneaker. I’m hoping Zappos gets a 61/2 back in stock soon.

I bought these for platform tennis. They are very sturdy and give good support. My biggest problem is each time a wear them (twice so far) the top of the right shoe is digging into my ankle- even causing blood. I’ve never had a problem like this before. Hoping once the shoe gets “worn in” it won’t happen anymore.

I am an 8. It was 1/4-1/2 a size too small and tight in width. pretty shoe though..
Oaktown –
These shoes are super structured, and, I could barely get my foot in them. Once in, it was close but a little too narrow. I’m somewhere between a Medium and a Wide. Toe box was great, just not wide enough in lace-up area. I ordered an 8.5 Medium and will try the wide.

Not happy with sizs of 3662 (felt too ahort).
Did not like the look of 8558

Love them

Loved these shoes! Had been looking for new pickleball shoes for a while. Wore them to play the first day I had them and I was sturdy on my feet and no pain.

These were too small for me. I take a size 10 so I sized up to 10 1/2 because the reviews mentioned them being too small. The 10 1/2s were too small so I ordered an 11 and they fir perfectly.

Fit and size was ok, but shoe was too stiff and heavy for what I need
Anonymous –
I have owned New Balance shoes in the past but these were tighter and smaller than previous purchases. I had to return this purchase

I ordered this shoe in ‘Wide’. Although it was marked as a ‘wide’, it didn’t feel wide at all. I couldn’t even wear it to walk around the house.

Good tennis court shoes. Ordering second pair!
