The sock style makes it so the shoe is incredibly tight across the top of the foot with no way to loosen or adjust.

The sock style means the shoe stays uncomfortably tight across the tops of your feet with no way to adjust.

Great looking low profile shoe, however extremely tight and will have to be returned.
Jordan –
These shows fit perfectly and are not too tight. I loved them so much I bought second pair.
Daniel –
No where near EE wide at all. Felt like I was squeezing into a children’s shoe.

Just another pretty face. I have three pairs of the Minimus 10V1 model from New Balance. This shoe has no support, the toe box is huge and the shoe is so wide in my size that it is uncomfortable to walk across the room.
Very disappointed!!!
Kris –
Gorgeous shoe, but felt too cramped. I have been buying New Balance for a decade and there are the first I don’t love. The least comfortable pair I own in my size.

Great running shoe as always

These shoes have been great for functional training and weight lifting.

Great

I have narrow, high-arching feet and these shoes fit perfectly. Light weight and great to wear.
BikerInKS –
This is a fantastic transition shoe if you are trying to move to a barefoot shoe. I personally wear both minimalist and barefoot shoe. I find this shoe much more comfortable than barefoot shoes.

I don’t know if these shoes were tested on human feet prior to release, but they are so off standard sizing I literally could not get my foot in one of them. I am a 10, 10.5 since highschool in every brand (including the previous Minimus) and have never had to go up. I got the 10.5 and it was ridiculously small. I’m guess 9.5 narrow in standard sizing. Really wanted to like them because the colour was very fresh. They didn’t have the right sizing at the store when I returned but I’m guessing 11.5 or 11.5 wide would have been a better fit.

Flat with arch support is a great shoe for indoor or dry weather every day wear. Perfect for weight training, boxing, etc. Initial versions (2-3 yrs ago) fit true to size. PLEASE, PLEASE bring back new versions of this design.

This is not even close to what a wide (2E) is and/or should be! Could barely get my foot into shoe and all my mid foot is spilling over narrow sole. Was excited to have a shoe I could wear at gym for cross training and now very disappointed. Don’t understand how you can call this a wide when it is smaller than most D width shoes! Put another wide shoe next to it for comparison and it’s double the width!

This shoe will get you pretty close to lifting like you’re bare-footed. It’s excellent for deadlifting due to the minimal sole thickness and cushioning, and is also well-suited for squatting if you prefer a shoe without an elevated heel. The sole is also noticeably more flexible than other shoes, which I appreciate when I do calf raises. The small lip on the heel makes it ideal for hooking into the foot straps on a rowing machine. The sole extends up the inner arch on the side for more grip when climbing a rope. Lots of thought went into this shoe design, and it sounds like other reviewers haven’t been getting the most out of it – perhaps because they’re only running. I, on the other hand, love it. Runs true to size, but the gray color is a little darker than the picture.
Luis –
I love how they feel. The right size and fit, great for workouts. The low profile is awesome.
The color is not white, it’s a cool light gray.

Awesome shoe!

Great looking shoe. My son ordered it for Track & Field discus and shot put and it fits his needs perfectly.

The fit was great! I like these shoes for walking!

It’s been over 10 years that both my husband and I wear NB minimus. We absolutely love them! I do feel they run half a size to a size smaller than my other shoes. They are perfect for crossfit or any cross- training workout.

I like the mi imal shoe. But I don’t think it will stay clean
