Buy a half size larger than your normal size. Great shoes though.

Runs very small. I wear a size 7.5 but ordered a size 8 and it was still too small. I would advice going a whole size up.
Anonymous –
Size was slightly larger, but not so much that you need to order next size up. The problem with these is that there really isn’t enough support for any training. These are leisure shoes with little support.

Perfect fit but prefer the Prevail. Great style.

Very comfortable-perfect fit-like they were made for my foot.

I love NB Minimus TR’s, but always size up a half size from my usual size 8. With this style I’m going to have to size up a full size from my usual. I have never worn a 9 in any shoe but will be returning these for hopefully an in stock size 9.

This shoe is fabulous and I think it’s as good if not better than the Merrell vapor glove. For sizing reference, I am a solid size 6 in most shoes but wear a half size up for Merrell vapor glove (6.5), and wear a 6 in the Merrell trail glove 5. After reading the reviews I sized up for the NB to 6.5 and I went for the wide width. I don’t consider myself having wide feet, since I can wear heels with no issue but due to my experience with the Merrell Trail glove 5, which feels narrow, I went for the wide. I do wear socks with the NB but they are the ultra thin merino socks with zero padding. I find these NB are very lightweight and stylish. They are also very easy to put on in spite of not having those heel loops/tabs. I can feel the ground.

Too narrow and small for size 9

To respond to other comments, these are not running/walking shoes; they purposefully don’t have a lot of cushioning. These are the best strength training shoes I’ve ever owned — I have a narrow foot but I like a wide toe box to plant my feet firmly on the floor when I lift. They have great grip for jumping. And they’re super cute.

I wanted to like these shoes, they are very cute. However, they are ridiculously narrow. A wide in my normal size was very tight all around. I went a full size up, in wide, and they still actually pinched me in the toes and toe box areas. If you have very narrow feet, you might love them. I had to return

Didn’t feel supportive and not wide enough for me. Oh well.

Once I got my foot in they fit great. However, the opening for the show is WAY too small. I could barely get my foot in the shoe. It’s very odd.

These shoes fit pretty well, but there were a few odd details that made them unappealing for me. One thing I didn’t like is the offset tongue with a thicker portion on the outside of the foot. After only a few minutes of walking around my house, it was already irritating my ankle. Another problem was that the upper part of the shoe made a strange poppint/crinkling sound at the joint of my big toe when I walked, which I found annoying enough to take the shoes off without waiting any longer. These might be a good option for someone with narrow heel and wide toe box needs, as the fit was pretty good. Just not for me.

This shoe runs very small. I normally wear an 8 1/2 (40 Europe). I ordered ’wide’The toe box is wide enough, but I certainly wouldn’t think it was made as a wide shoe. My first attempt was a size 9. I had to return them for a 10. Once you get the size right, it is a comfortable zero drop shoe.

I really like these shoes, especially that they allow me to wear them for any crosstraing exercise. They are flat enough for lifting but are also really great for cardio. They don’t get 5 stars because the sizing is a little off. They run very small, so prepare for an adjustment in size.

These work perfectly for my purpose of a lifting shoe to wear when I work out at my house. It gives me a little extra support with no added bulk.
For the fit, I’m usually an 8 and the 8.5 fits perfect, maybe just a tad small but it’s doable. I have a narrow heel (I often step out of typical high heels), a low volume foot and an average size toe box, so these seem like they were made for me. I could see how others with wider feet or heels wouldn’t like them.

I wanted a workout shoe, and I think this one looks great. My foot is normally a size 8 1/2, and I am slightly wide in the toe area. I usually do fine with a medium width, however. After reading reviews, I decided to get the 8 1/2 Wide. The sneaker was difficult to get onto my foot, and was way too snug. Even with the wide width, it squeezed my toe area. It also felt tight and uncomfortable on the top of my foot. I’ve worn other minimally padded workout shoes before and they were quite comfortable, but this design just didn’t work for my foot, so I have to return it.

Great for wide toes, med/wide mid foot tapering to narrow heel. These shoes are the best fitting shoes for my specific foot shape. I’ve owed at least 5 pairs so far over the years, wear until I wear through the sole and repeat. Wide toe shaped forefoot like Altra but without the sloppy heel fit of Altra.

Shoes fit snug and true to size. They are meant to be worn without socks. Good grippy soles. I use them for bike riding. My feet stay firmly on the pedals.

It was to flimsey for me! I need a stronger stiffer foot base

I absolutely love these shoes. I have the minimus trail for running and they are the best (unfortunately they don’t make them anymore). So I bought these for training/ cross training and they are awesome. My usual size is 7.5 but for some reason I’m 8.5 in new balances. Love love love these! I wish they came in more colors.

These are good training shoes but need to size up half a size and go wide.

I have always loved New Balances Minimus shoe. This is the perfect fit with a bit wider toe base than the previous and the same comfort of the bare minimum shoe like I am wearing hardly anything at all.

Ordering my third pair of minimus. Hope these never get fazed out. They’re great for any type of training. Just enough padding and ankle support for plyo/cardio type and minimal enough for weightlifting/strength type. If your foot is used to this style of shoe, walking and light jogging is also great with these.

Perfect shoe for the gym or dance. Light and airy. Runs a bit small so I returned for half a size bigger, return process was outstanding, and they fit great!
