This is my 3rd pair of New Balance shoes with the Boa system. I love running and biking in these! I had to order a full shoe size up. They definitely run small.

I love everything about this shoe. I have already worn the shoe for a few training sessions and I couldn’t be happier with how it performs. I am able to get a great locked down and dialed in fit with the BOA. Better than any lace shoe I have ever worn. Truly a game changer in performance. As some of the other reviews suggest, this shoe does run a little small. I recommend ordering a half size up for the best fit. Overall, so happy with this shoe for training. Can’t wait to get back to the gym!

Everything said previously – size up, get wide width unless you have narrow feet – is true. I like the boa fastener as it’s quick and easy. I like the barefoot/minimalist aspect, as it allows my feet to move more naturally. The color is really nice. I’d like to see the collar lowered a tad, as it just hits my ankle. It’s not a problem when running, since I am a fore-foot striker, but it’s a bit uncomfortable when walking. It’s not bad, but it could be better. Overall I like these shoes and would recommend

I haven’t worn any other athletic shoes in decades and have no interest in changing. The new BOA system is great, super easy and quick to use.

These shoes provide flexibility and neutral heel height while holding my foot perfectly. Love, love, love the BOA closure. Best pair of footwear that I have ever worn. After years of hyper flexible feet prone to injury and ankle sprain (and resulting poor proprioception), I turned away from orthotics and other stability systems. Finally found minimal footwear that encourages motion instead of restricting it yet with supportive and intuitive wrapping of all my vulnerable spots. Foot pain DOWN. Injury – none. Confidence – 100%. These shoes are so comfortable that I really hope NB considers a minimal boot for a Canadian winter with this kind of fit. Please! And thanks for making my summer with these fabulous looking kicks.

I bought these to replace my very worn New Balance Minimus shoes that were about 10 years old. While I really liked those shoes, these are so much better!! I use these only to run on my treadmill and they are very comfortable and very grippy! They are a little narrow in the middle but are mostly true to size. Highly recommend!

I ordered these because an online article suggested it. The toe box is better sized for my feet, my only advice is to size a half size up, my toes are right at the edge! They’ve been great for workouts and lifting and keep my midfoot snug without any sliding around. Definitely recommend!

I needed a new pair of shoes for my indoor water rower. I was so happy to find these because they are a flat soled shoe and they have BOA which is quick to get in and out of. A few turns of the dial and you have perfectly, evenly laced shoes. I have BOA on my inline skates. Once you have a quick lacing system like this, you won’t care for shoe laces anymore! Thank you ‘New Balance’!

I normally wear a size 9 and was a bit surprised I did not have to size up 1/2 size like I normally do in NB. These are what they say-these are minimal shoes. I purchased the shoes for rebounding. I wanted the feel of barefoot as much as possible but with some protection. These are perfect and are very comfortable. The BOA system is great. They did not provide instructions on how to loosen the system, but I figured it out (pull on the BOA tab). Understand what you are purchasing, and make sure it is applicable for what you want from the shoe!
