Bought for my 7year old son who rates these shoes a 10/10. The fit is just as described. We like the loops on the back to help get the shoe on!

If your search for extra-wide kid shoes led you to this product, you can stop searching. You must be aware how painful it is to find extra-wide shoes for kids and NB has been kicking out one good product after another. I briefly switch to the “S” brand wide shoes – not even a close match. Gong to buy the next sizes up of the same model before they take it off the production line.

Rare to find sneakers that are wide, look fun and have Velcro for my 4 year old but these fit great and zero complaints from him.

New balance has been around and we value their innovation and quality. These shoes were purchased for a 8 year old boy so my opinion about comfort can not be given. But the style looks good. Had to purchase a little big due to half sizes out of stock. But other than that issue he is enjoying his new kicks.

We’ve been loyal to a competing branduntil now. Being frustrated at not finding my sons size anywhere online (in the competing brand) I decided to try New Balance. I was immediately impressed by how much stock they had. They didn’t seem to be out of any sizes. Moreover, they actually stocked a WIDE option. My son has been wearing the shoes for 3 weeks now and he absolutely loves them. They are truly the best looking and most comfortable sneaker he’s had with the hook and loop fastener.

Bought these for my grandson that has a wide foot. I went to a couple of stores looking for sneakers and none of them carried wide sneakers. So I ordered a pair from Zappos. They came right on time. The day before school started. And they fit it perfectly . So thankful

Was too big. My son’s heal was slipping out. I’d recommend getting half a size down. Otherwise it seemed ok, nice looking shoe and I liked the slip on/off tag at the back since my son never undoes the velcro/laces.

Loved these at first, but now we’ve had them for a few months and the Velcro doesn’t stick anymore, so they’re constantly falling off. Kids outgrow shoes pretty darn fast, so I think it’s fair to expect an expensive pair of name brand shoes to last until a larger replacement is needed.

My grandson was so excited to get these for shoes. He wears them for gym and it was the first time for black gym shoes the problem is when he pulls over the strap they do not stay closed. Even when we adults pull the strap over they do not stay in place as they seem to have some kind of a coaching on them which I think stops them from attaching to the Velcro on them. This is the first time this has ever happened to any of his shoes I have I have bought him. I know they cannot be returned since he has worn them. I just want other parents to be aware of the problem.

I purchased these for my great grandson and he loved them because they were his first pair of black shoes. Problem with them is when you pull the strap over to close them up they do not stay in place. The stuff on the piece on the shoe where you attach the strap is very shiny. I as an adult am always pulling the strap over and have to force it to attach, then later it detaches. I should have returned them right away, but I though they were new and would attach eventually the way it should. He has very wide feet for his age and its hard to find a good shoe to fit him. I even had a hard time finding him soccer shoes and the manufacturers need to take in account they need to make a extra wide soccer shoe.

The kid loves his sneakers, they are comfortable but most important is his self esteem by wearing them instead of the cheap plastic material ones. The quality of the shoes on Width has made him feel that there is a caring company out here that produces fashion and quality for his feet. A 6 years old child in love with New Balance.
