Ordered the size wide width originally, but had to return and reorder the extra wide width. I like New Balance because they are well made.

Little guy has wide feet, so I ordered wide width. They were way too narrow. He says they feel really tight on the sides. I compared them to his other wide width New Balances and they look noticeably narrower! Kiddo loves the design on the shoe, but we will have to return and find other shoes that fit better.

sneaks are great, but after a few months one of the Velcro’s has lost its stick..

My 5 year old has a high instep, so the extra-wide really helps with comfort. Unfortunately; New Balance KEEPS using cheap velcro. So we have an otherwise perfectly good pair of sneakers that’s useless after only two months because the straps absolutely wont stay fastened and they fall off his feet!

The velcro stopped sticking on the straps within a month so my daughter couldn’t wear them anymore. I would not purchase these shoes again.

They look good by standard width is narrower than other brands.
