first, the quality of these sneakers is very poor, the front part came off after a few days of wearing, then when I called the costumer service, the person working there was slow, rude and unprofessional, he/she did not know can I return shoes in store or not. Very poorly educated worker for such a big brand like New Balance! I wasted 30 min on waiting and ended up with no answer!

My son love these shoes. It is his first time running cross country. He is 10 and loving it. These shoes are comfortable and reasonably priced. I run as well and love the new balance fit. I’m using the 1080s and the Rebel V2s and love them both. I’m glad my son feels equally pumped about his new balance running shoes.

Purchased the lace up version for my son for school. He wore them on the first day of school and the shoes started falling apart after ONE wear. Contacted NB: solution was to send them back and reorder. Second pair arrived, they were worn to school, and again my son returned with shoes falling apart. I will be returning these as well. This is so disappointing. I cannot keep buying shoe after shoe and waiting for refunds. Unfortunately my son wears wide/x-wide so shopping in store isn’t an option. Also why does shipping take so long?!?? NB was once a reputable company. You have to do better for your customers. Sincerely a really annoyed mom.

Both of my middle schools boys have worn this style for years and it holds up well and is supportive. We’ve used them for everyday, running cross country, and everything in between. Runs true to size from our experience.

This is the only brand that actually comes in extra wide. My daughter is now 9 years old and she’s been wearing this brand since 18 months the shoe fits her perfect on the side that she doesn’t wear the brace.

The fit is perfect. Being able to find extra wide shoes are very hard. Especially cute ones. My daughter loves them and she doesn’t complain about her feet hurting (toes and heel).

Well built shoe so far. We originally tried a different New Balance style that only lasted a few days. The shoe laces holes stand up to a child learning to tie shoes and once tied they stay tied.

My daughter loves these! They are great for her AFO braces. New Balance always delivers! Their option of an extra-wide size allows for easy fit for AFO braces. They are great for anyone looking for comfort, stability, and style in a kid’s shoe. I would definitely recommend these. The white portion on the bottom section of the shoe has been surprisingly easy to clean. A little comet goes a long way. The pictures don’t show this too well. I took them after a hard week of playing outside. I will be ordering these in the next size up because my daughter outgrew her braces and had to have a new pair made. But I’m sticking with this shoe.

These not only fit well but were easy to put on. He wears braces so finding good fit is part of the success. The heal has a taller back which acts like a shoe horn.

My son has been wearing these for a year. The fit has been good plus these are easy to get over his braces. Now he has new braces so a bigger shoe is needed.

My daughter loved these shoes and they seems great for her flat arches. A week into wearing them though they developed a huge ridge in the back which poked her heel so much it made them unwearable. I know its probably how she put on her shoes but none of her other shoes have ever done that and it seems like a bad design- also a waste of an expensive shoe for a week of wear!

The only issue is that the shoe lace is breaking after only wearing these a few months. I would have expected the laces to last longer. My granddaughter really likes these shoes.
