These shoes were great when we first got them. My son really liked the look and feel of the shoes. However, about 2 months into wearing them daily, the hook-and-loop closures started to pop open while wearing. The hook-and-loop closures are still clean – not dirty or covered in fuzz, as happens with some shoes – these just don’t want to stick anymore. It has happened with both shoes, and makes them almost impossible to wear for active play. If it weren’t for this issue, these shoes likely would have lasted until my son outgrew them.
