Why does New Balance make great shoes with such awful laces? We buy New Balance most times for our kids because they prefer the way they fit their feet, but 9 times out of 10 I have to buy replacement laces. This particular line came with hard round laces that are nearly impossible to get a good tight knot on (and more difficult for kids to tie in general!). No complaints about the shoes otherwise.
