just didnt feel right

Loved the shoe, but the toe box was too small. Had to return

I really loved this shoe, but unfortunately, the toe box was not as large as the NB 928’s I have been wearing since they were introduced.

I have been wearing 860s for years and decided to give these Fresh Foam X Vongo v6s a try. They fit even better than the 860s, lacing up tighter and providing more snugness and lateral support for my foot, which is a bit narrower than average. There is more cushioning than the 860s and similar stability. The toe box feels fairly roomy. The styling is fairly plain, but that’s fine by me. Having worn them just a couple of weeks, I think I have found my new favorite.

Sole is already peeling off the sneaker.

Feels great! Mild arch support.

In Nike Court sneakers, I wear a women’s 8.5, in UGG Adirondak a 9, but in these I need a 10 (men’s 8.5). I bought these as a supposedly more stable version of 1080v13. The color I bought, Aluminum Grey/Brick Red, is a classy cool-tone grey color. They have surprisingly good arch support, but are not as squishy as 1080s and distressingly more narrow. The line from the heel to the ball of your foot is basically straight. The website pictures are accurate. There is no space for the big toe, but the conspicuous white sole remembers something should be there. Fine if your feet are shaped like hot dog buns, I guess.

Good fit and size for 11 and 2EE. However, no bounce, dead feel, and this color plus size looks like a clown shoe.

Good looking shoe that provides decent arch support and has a normal toe box space compared to some that are wider or more narrow. I did have to go up a size. But, happy to do it to get the right show when paying this kind of price.

Perfect fit

I had a Fresh Foam Vongo and loved it. I loathe the new one. I had to take it out walking to find its weaknesses. The foam compresses and stays compressed so all the lovely cushioning and spring you feel when you first put it on disappears. Now the shoe is loose and my foot slides around. I hit a soft spot on the trail today and the shoe went down hill, my foot went forward and my ankle went up hill. Totally unstable.

Love wearing them. It would have been great if more than one color was on sale but, for me, these are more for performance than style.

The size and fit were great. Really comfortable shoe. 4th pair I bought

Best shoe for my 2E feet, EVER! I have gout and a wonderful bunion on both feet. This is by far the best support/comfort I’ve felt. Will be purchasing another pair soon!
Micah –
I love NB generally the only shoes I wear, but not these. They just weren’t comfortable. NB usually provide me support and stability… these did not for me. Sent back

too narrow

Too short, too narrow

I like the look of New Balance but I still prefer the fit of Brooks Ghost.

Relatively firm but solid support. Overall very comfortable
Stephen –
New Balance shoes are true to size and width as usual. However, the toebox is too shallow for me, pressing my toes down in the shoe.

This shoe has a lot of heel slip … even when using lacing to lock-in the heel. I have several other pairs of NB shoes which do not exhibit the heel slip issue
