Stef –
I took these travelling for 3 months. Very comfy, good grip for hikes. NOT waterproof. Take forever to dry.
Cindyfs –
These were the most comfortable trail shoes I have ever worn, after being a Salomon user for years. Unfortunately, 3 of the cloth lace eyelets broke a few months after I purchased them, and since there we no holes, the shoes were useless. Your customer service was also useless, and basically said “sorry”.
Beth –
Disappointed that the fresh foam wasn’t what it was suppose to be. I’ve had this type material inside of shoes and love the comfy of it, but these shoes didn’t.
Kellie –
These shoes are everything I could have hoped for. They handle icy, snowy trails with no problems. Great traction, cushion, and support. Better yet, my feet stay warm and dry!
Jen –
If I hadn’t have already worn them out I would have exchanged the size. It’s about a half size too small

I own the Heirro v6 and now the v7, and while I love them both, the v7 is a clear step up! The foam is excellent; it’s got a totally different feel and is very responsive while still being firm and providing ample comfort and support. The exterior fabric is bright and durable, and the GTX layer keeps my feet warm and dry in New England winter conditions–rain, snow, mud, and slush. The tread on the v7 is also much improved; there are real lugs that do a great job of gripping snowy and muddy surfaces. I have found the feel underfoot to be safe and provide the confidence needed to run in winter conditions.

I was hoping for a Goretex trail shoe with a decent amount of cushioning at the forefoot—this is not that shoe. It also runs short.

Love this shoe!
Even though this is a shoe for climbing and terrain it works for my job. I am a hospital worker who stands for 10 hrs a day.
I wore my new shoes to work for one day and the next day I ordered a second pair in the alternate color…
I ordered a size larger for feet swelling , 11 B. It’s working for me…. Wished there was another color…..

I purchased these for my wife who works in the garden center at a busy Lowes department store. Her feet are constantly wet from watering plants and she’s on her feet the entire 8-hour shift. She said that these shoes are the best thing that she found and it has made her work life so much better. The shoes are super comfortable and her feet stays dry by the of the day unlike before.
Landra –
They are just too small. Can only wear very thin socks.
Carrie –
This shoe fits true to size and comfortable wearing the first time. I purchased the dark blue last year, and the lighter blue is a fun update!

Great support but also super comfortable, and the sole traction is amazing (but will snag carpet, so don’t wear inside at all!). I’m ready for winter running this year!

Sturdy shoe – rock block is great for trail running but also very rigid. Love the gore. Feet stay dry in wet conditions but yet breathable shoe. Easy to clean even with the light color.

I’ve ordered size 7 which is my size on typical sneakers. It’s a bit bigger on this style but it works. I tried size 6 coz half size is not available. 6 fits better, snug but I returned it. The issue was the back part of it was rubbing against my feet and it’s very uncomfortable. I just kept the size 7.

I ordered 1/2 size up which was suggested. They’re super cute and the fit was perfect. I’m sending them back because they’re very stiff although it is a very supportive shoe. I thought I’d get used to the stiffness so I wore them around the house for a while. The kicker was they pulled the back of my socks down. So, back they go!

This shoe rocks! Recently took a trip to India, which had a lot of rugged terrain and it held up beautifully. I placed my custom orthotics into them, as I have plantar fasciitis. My feet didn’t hurt once over the 3 week trip! I am so excited to have these when I want to go on a light hike and don’t want to wear my hiking boots. Also kept my feet nice and warm and dry. Only style issue I have is the large GORTEX writing on the inside of the shoe. Oh well, tha’s minor compared to all the wonderful aspects of the shoe. Amazing!!!!

Almost perfect except I need a bit wider shoe. liked the style and color.

To be honest, I didn’t even try them on. I returned them because the color was not what I expected. I thought they’d be a light gray but they were a light blue. Rather than naming the color “starlight” (who knows what that is) it would be more helpful to call it “light blue”.

I wear NB 1540v3 for my plantar fasciitis & wide feet. Unfortunately, these sneakers are nothing similar. I wear 9W and these feel shorter (my pinkie toe hits the front side & is bent) and tighter.

I was looking for a comfortable, waterproof shoe for a walking tour in a rainy country. Though these shoes were very comfortable, they ran very small. I tried larger sizes, but couldn’t find the right size for me. I may be between sizes.
Jxngrrrl –
I should have picked this shoe first instead of trying to find a cheaper option. This shoe fits great, has nice cushioning, the tread grips well, it’s waterproof and it looks good too! These shoes are worth the money.
Maura –
If you are looking for a wide-fit running shoe, do not order this shoe. The fit is narrower than a medium-width New Balance running shoe.

The left shoe has a defect in the insole at the ball of my foot. I thought it would feel ok when broken in, but instead that shoe got worse.
Nancy –
These were exactly what I needed for a trip where many days of rain were predicted. They kept my feet dry, were comfortable, for beautifully even with my inserts.

I have a wide forefoot and narrow heel, and I felt that the D width accommodated both of those well. I’ve had the shoes over a year and they are still in decent shape. No other brand I could find offered the wide width in Gore-tex.
