The shoe was a full size smaller than needed. I wear a size 10 and reordered an 11.

Ordered 1/2 size up and that was helpful. But wide was unfortunately not truly wide and too much pressure on sides, so returning.

I wanted to love this shoe but there was some weird something that rubbed the top of my right foot. Maybe I’ve just have weird feet but it made it impossible for me to wear these shoes.

I have problem feet. Since toe boxes do vary in 8 Wide between brands, this one wasn’t quite right for my feet.

It’s basically a mid/high top trail runner. The sole is not all that stiff but has enough cushion that you wouldn’t feel sharp rocks.

I love these shoes! They have enough tread and are warm enough to wear in the snow and the ankle support is nice, I’m buying more!
