This style seemed larger/wider than most 4E shoes. The outsole was too high and seemed very clunky, especially in the heel area. In my opinion, this high profile style is not a good for tennis. NB needs to bring back the 696 V4 in 4E and in colors…was the best low profile tennis shoe on the market.

I have the 990v5 and it fits great, but the same size for the Fresh Foam is too tight and narrow (as others have mentioned).

I play Pickleball at least 2 – 4 times a week. These have held up well. Due to very wide feet (4E) there aren’t very many brands/models I can wear for court play. My only complaint is that New Balance in 4E seem to rarely go on sale.

My husband has wide feet and usually has a New Balance shoe. He has not been working out so I have not bought one for the past couple of years or so. We usually get 4E and size 9 for his shoes. Even another brand here from Zappos.
This new one, felt off. The width of the shoe does not seem to have the same allowance or it could be because he said the curvature seems more narrower now? The tongue also feels like it has more padding than before.
I tried to look at a half size bigger for him to try, but they are out of the 4E size.

No arch support. No footbed cushioning – was like walking on a rock! Ankle dips both cut into my ankles (so ankle-dips are not deep enough, a common problem with New Balance shoes). Overall is unwearable.

Box marked Medium width. Shoes were marked wide. They were obviously packed in the wrong box.

The toe box was too narrow. They had very little arch support. They looked good, just not right for me.
