Love this shoe. Fit’s my 3E wide feet beautifully. I purchased the X-wide size. I don’t have fat feet. My feet are wide at the ball just behind the toes and I have difficulty finding sneakers and shoes that fit properly. I find most wide sizes are made for people with fat feet and are made with an excess of material in the upper causing my foot to swim in them. This sneaker feels great. It has lots of cushion in the sole for running or for wearing as an everyday casual sneaker, which is how I wear them. They are my go to summer sneak. The upper is also made well. On par with the Brooks Beast at only 2/3 the price. Good job New Balance. Please keep making versions of this shoe. Love it.

Imagine the stability of the New Balance 860s meets the height & forward propel of the Hoka Cliftons. It’s a solid hybrid vibe for a bargain price. If you keep track of your steps, awesome for 25,000 steps.

The front foot cushion not adequate. Heats.

The front foot cushioning not adequate. Hurts ball of foot after long walk.

Just an awesome shoe. I have wide feet at around 3E. Finding shoes that fit well is challenging to say the least. I’ve been wearing Brooks and they are an excellent brand, but pricey. This shoes is just as good or better then my Brooks and 2/3 the cost. New Balance nailed it with this one. Fits me perfectly and they’re constructed well. Holding up quite well too. I’m very pleased.

These New Balance shoes fit as expected and true to size. They are extremely comfortable to walk, run or workout in.
Prakash –
Very comfortable with great soft cushion. Using it for long walks, 7 miles.

I like the cushion from the fresh form. It’s less padded than a Hoka, but for the price, it’s a very good alternative.

The shoe is decent based upon today’s quality standards. The size is accurate, but the width is not. But the shoe is wearable and functional. NB used to make excellent shoes in widths but this seemed to change about 5-6 years ago. Same with Asics. Too bad for those of us with wider feet…

I am 6’5”, 215 lbs. senior. I need a shoe for “work,” where I’m walking on a concrete floor for 5-6 miles per day. These are working great. I do have a narrow foot, so I’m getting a little heel swim, but I just wear thicker cotton socks.

I’m 6’3″ and 230 lbs, but I lead an active life with plenty of walking and running, alongside my job in retail where I’m on my feet a lot. These shoes are, without a doubt, the best I’ve ever owned. I absolutely love them. I initially wanted to buy a different color in the same style, but unfortunately, they didn’t have my size in stock. If you’re in search of incredibly comfortable shoes at a great price, these are the ones to get. I adore them and hope they restock size 12 so I can order another pair.

After purchasing the same shoes in a size 10.5 wide, I had to return to get a size 11 extra wide.

I have a balance issue, and while fit and feel were great, shoe soles seemed to have a slight to the sides as if the length of the shoes were slightly lower on the outside versus the inside.

This shoe hurt my foot.

Using these shoes for walking. I’ve walked about 30 miles in them so far and love them. It took a few miles for the cushioning to break in / begin to shape to my feet, but after that they are super comfortable. Very light weight and a feeling of almost being propelled forward in my stride.

I need a wider shoe

Tight toe box. Otherwise looks nice.

the dip at the front of the shoes was very disconcerting. Your toes never “touch the ground” until you walk heel to toe. I couldn’t get used to it. Plus I wasn’t a fan of the fact that new balance was written across the back of each shoe very prominently. I don’t want to be a walking advertisement for their company. the NB on the side was enough IMO.

I ordered a wide and it is too wide. This shoe is roomy, I ordered a wide, and didn’t need to do that. The size is a bit longer than other brands, but still a fine shoe. I realized that I need to order a half size down on this model.

I was excited to try these. Unfortunately I have to send them back. They were comfortable, but right out of the box, on a dry surface, they squeak bad!

Nice fit. Comfortable. Also the “Tongue” part of the show did not hurt as it did for FuelCell Rebel V4.

Feet slide in shoe. Not a shoe for someone who has narrow heels.

Sadly we had to return, shoe was marked 4E but it was not very wide all all.
Hard to determine comfort level since they did not fit

This is a very nice looking and comfortable shoe .

These shoes starting falling apart after less than three months of moderate use. I do not run in them. Just walk around. Both shoes are tearing on the sides and also the top of the toebox. I have worn New Balance shoes in this exact same side for many years. I would not buy them again. Terrible durability.
